Aton Joseph “TC” Castillo

Our resident keyboardist and pianist, Aton, has been playing music since 1996. He graduated at the Berklee College of Music with a degree in Jazz Composition. Aside from being a live performer, he has also worked as a piano teacher and assistant production engineer.

Franklin A. Wharton

Despite being a retired youth advocate and school social worker, Franklin has been a professional musician for many decades. He plays the flute, vibraphone, and saxophone. In his 25-year membership with Sounds of Blackness, Franklin received three Grammy awards, gold records, and a platinum record. He has also provided music for the Disney animation, “The Story of John Henry.”

Larry T. McRae

An undoubtedly accomplished bassist, Larry manages the day-to-day operations of his production company. He has also been the head of Instrumental Music Department and Audio Department. In his career, he has produced different albums that have become church classics. Larry also joined famous artists like Roberta Flack, Sadao Watanabe, and other symphony groups in their worldwide tours.

Alvin L. Giles, Jr.

A summa cum laude in Jazz Studies and Commercial Music, Alvin is a young musician who specializes in music production, songwriting, composition, and film scoring. He wrote and preformed music for Academy Award Winner Twelve Years A Slave. He has also been an active member in the music ministry in their church.

Ezra Henry

One of New York City's finest drummers is now an Orlando resident playing with Jazz Meets Motown and others. He is an outstanding drummer and his contributions have our ensemble the best in Central Florida. His versatility includes, jazz, Latin, gospel, rhythm, blues and songwriter.

Lisa Grant Duguid

With diverse education and training background, Lisa worked for different bands and choirs as a freelance singer. Ranging from 1st soprano to 1st tenor, her voice has always been flexible for any genre – from jazz and R&B to gospel and classical. Now, you can watch her soulful performances every Monday at our club.

Jamie Williams

Exceptional saxophonist, teaches at Full Sails University. Has played with exceptional groups all through America both east coast and west coast. Jennifer Hudson has recorded for him. 

Jackie Jones 

Outstanding artist, versatile in acting and singing central Florida's favorite with a very exciting repertoire.

Kim Lovering

Outstanding vocalist equally popular in New York City and Central Florida recently concluded a year at BB Kings house of blues.

Elisabeth Waiters Mendes

Launched an organization called Orlando's Eye on talent. Elisabeth is a Tony and Emmy awards nominee. Currently she is giving concerts in the Orlando area and one  member of her quintet has a pass to the finals of America's got talent.

Tom Atkinson

Celebration resident, An educator with PHD, trumpeter who plays religious, classics, jazz, dixieland all majestically.

Jaelan Funk

Grandson of the founder Alex Foster is guitarist and won the Lewis Armstrong award for best musician. He attended the Juilliard Arts summer program and was named first guitarist.

Orlando Sanchez

World renowned percussionist has led the most outstanding Latin musical groups in Central Florida and has performed with top Latin musicians over the world. Recently retired from Disney.
